about

Deb got this tune from John Offord's fantastic book, John of the Green - The Cheshire Way, where it's titled Barbara Allen. It's from the William Irwin manuscript source where it's untitled but John informs us it's called Butchers of Bristol in some other manuscripts. The dance was composed by Toby, inspired by Sam Sherry's Exhibition Routine.
